For Hybrids she produced quality handmade structures with multiple layers in stiffened fabrics and paper, some were printed on and others were embellished with machine embroidery. They created a dramatic, tactile and unique effect.

A new collection Folds and Layers will be showcased at New Designers 06 in the One Year On section. Here work was selected for inclusion in this show by an esteemed panel of judges.
Folds are for display on a flat surface and Layers can be displayed either on a flat surface or hung on a wall in a home, business or art gallery environment. The work is hand cut, colour treated and manipulated using stiffened fabrics, creating a cross between textiles and fine art.
